Daphne Zelle is a Chinese-French ex-professional ballet dancer turned actor/writer/director. She trained at Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C. on merit scholarship and eventually discovered her love for pretending to be other people. She graduated from NYU with a BA in drama and creative writing and went on to appear in shows including And Just Like That (HBO Max) and Inventing Anna (Netflix). In addition, she wrote and directed her first short film Your Face, which premiered at the Oscar-qualifying Cinequest Film Festival. In her spare time, Daphne enjoys reading, making and eating cake, and watching cult horror films.
